Sink In（以下稱「我們」）是一款語言學習 App，能把你存下來的內容變成個人化課程。這份隱私權政策說明我們收集哪些資料、如何使用，以及你有哪些權利。

Sink In ("we", "our", or "us") is a language-learning app that turns text you save from things you read into personalized lessons. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

我們收集的資料

Information we collect

• 帳號資訊：你的 Apple 或 Google 使用者 ID、該服務提供的電子郵件地址，以及你的顯示名稱，用來辨識你的帳號。顯示名稱設定後就不能更改。
• 個人照片（選填）：你自己上傳的頭像。上傳後會裁切成正方形存在我們的伺服器上，並且對 Sink In 的其他使用者公開——會出現在你的個人檔案、排行榜和你發佈的內容旁邊。你可以隨時移除，不上傳完全沒問題。

• Account identifiers: your Apple or Google user ID, the email address that service gives us, and your display name, used to identify your account. A display name is set once and cannot be changed afterwards.
• Profile photo (optional): a photo you choose to upload. It is cropped to a square and stored on our servers, and it is public to other Sink In users — it appears on your profile, on leaderboards, and beside anything you post. You can remove it at any time, and not adding one is entirely fine.
• Saved content: the text you paste or scan to create a lesson, along with any title, creator name, or source you optionally add.
• Learning data: your target language(s) and level, generated lesson content (vocabulary, grammar, syntax, and tone & register items), your spaced-repetition review history, and stats like streaks and XP.
• Collections: any folders you create to organize saved content.
• Push token: if you allow notifications, we store a device token issued by Apple or Google, used only to remind you when reviews are due. It cannot be used to identify you personally.
• Problem reports: whatever you write in Report a problem or idea, plus any screenshot you choose to attach yourself.

我們不會收集你的位置、聯絡人或麥克風音訊。Sink In 只在你要拍照存文字時才會用到相機，辨識完全在你的裝置上進行（Apple 內建的 Vision 框架），照片本身不會上傳或儲存，只有辨識出的文字會被存下來。

We do not collect your location, contacts, or microphone audio. Sink In requests camera access only so you can photograph text to save it. Recognition happens entirely on your device (Apple's on-device Vision framework), and the photo itself is never uploaded or stored; only the recognized text is saved.

當你透過網址存下一段內容時，Sink In 會抓取來源音訊來產生逐字稿。這段音訊會透過 Google Cloud Speech-to-Text 處理，並在安全的雲端儲存空間保留一份壓縮版本，讓你可以在 App 內搭配存下的內容一起播放。

When you save a clip from a URL rather than pasting text directly, Sink In fetches the source audio to generate a transcript. That audio is processed via Google Cloud Speech-to-Text, and a compressed copy is retained in secure cloud storage so you can play it back in-app alongside your saved clip.

Sink In 不會自己打開或抓取你正在看的貼文。內容都是你自己帶進來的：用複製貼上，或讓裝置從截圖、照片辨識文字。除了你明確存下的內容之外，沒有其他被爬取或儲存的東西。

Sink In never opens or fetches the post you're reading. You bring in the text yourself, by copying it or by letting your device read it from a screenshot or photo, so there is nothing scraped and nothing stored beyond what you explicitly save.

How we use your information

我們收集的資料只用於：用 AI 服務根據你存下的文字產生課程；安排你的間隔重複複習排程並追蹤進度；記住你的語言、程度與偏好設定。我們不會出售或出租你的資料給第三方，也不會把資料用於廣告。

We use the information we collect solely to: generate your lessons using AI services, schedule your spaced-repetition reviews and track your progress, and remember your language, level, and preference settings across sessions. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising.

What other people can see

你存下的內容預設都是私人的。只有在你主動分享或發問時，才會有東西進到社群裡——而且你可以選擇讓誰看到（只有朋友，或所有人）。

Everything you save is private by default. Content only enters the community when you actively share it or ask a question, and you choose who can see it — friends only, or everyone.

不過有幾項資料在你使用社群功能時本來就是公開的：你的顯示名稱、你的個人照片（如果有上傳），以及你發佈的內容和回覆。你也可以在「社群隱私」裡分別決定要不要顯示水位、連續天數和排行榜名次。如果你把帳號設為私人，這些統計數字就只有你的朋友看得到。

A few things are inherently public once you use the community features: your display name, your profile photo if you added one, and anything you post or reply to. You can separately choose whether to show your water level, streak, and leaderboard ranking under Community privacy. If you set your account to private, those stats are visible only to your friends.

你完全可以不碰社群功能就把 Sink In 當成私人的學習工具用。

You can use Sink In as a completely private tool and never touch the community features.

產品分析

Product analytics

使用分析預設是關閉的。除非你自己在「你」分頁 → 「使用分析」把它打開，否則不會有任何使用資料離開你的裝置——在你打開之前，分析工具本身根本不會啟動。

Analytics is off by default. No usage data leaves your device unless you turn it on yourself in the You tab → Analytics. Until you do, the analytics tool is never even started.

如果你選擇打開，我們會用 PostHog 來了解 App 的功能是否好用，例如「有多少人完成了新手引導」或「複習功能被開啟了幾次」。傳送的內容只有使用事件（你做了什麼操作）和基本裝置資訊，絕不包含你存下的文字、逐字稿或課程內容——這一點是寫在程式裡強制執行的，不只是政策上的承諾：任何名為文字、逐字稿或內容的欄位在送出前都會被移除。你隨時可以再關掉。

If you choose to turn it on, we use PostHog to understand how the app is used — for example, how many people finish onboarding, or how often reviews are opened. What we send is limited to usage events (which actions you took) and basic device information. It never includes the text you save, your transcripts, or your lesson content — and that is enforced in code rather than promised in policy: any property named text, transcript, body, content, or payload is stripped before an event is sent. You can turn it back off at any time.

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard practices to protect it from unauthorized access. We retain your data for as long as your account is active, and you may request deletion at any time.

兒童隱私

Children's privacy

Sink In 並非針對13歲以下兒童設計，我們不會刻意收集13歲以下兒童的個人資料。若你認為有兒童提供了個人資料給我們，請與我們聯絡，我們會將其刪除。

Sink In is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Sink In turns text you save into personalized language lessons. Lesson content is generated by AI and can be wrong. Treat it as a study aid, not as an authoritative reference on any language.

你的帳號

Your account

你必須年滿 13 歲才能建立帳號，並且對帳號下發生的一切行為負責。你可以隨時在 App 內刪除帳號（「你」分頁 → 刪除帳號）。若你違反這些條款，我們可以暫停或終止你的帳號。

You must be 13 or older to create an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. You can delete your account at any time in the app (You tab → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms.

你貼上的內容

Content you paste in

你貼進 Sink In 的文字仍然屬於你（或屬於原作者）。我們不會宣稱擁有它，只會用它來為你生成課程、以及提供你選擇使用的功能。

Text you paste into Sink In remains yours (or its original author's). We claim no ownership of it and use it only to generate your lessons and to power the features you choose to use.

You are responsible for having the right to use what you paste. Do not paste copyrighted material you do not have the right to use.

社群：對冒犯性內容零容忍

Community: zero tolerance for objectionable content

我們對冒犯性內容與濫用行為採取零容忍政策。在社群功能裡（貼文、回覆、個人檔案、分享的課程），你不得發佈：騷擾、仇恨言論、威脅、性內容、暴力內容、垃圾訊息，或任何違法的內容。

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. In the community features — posts, replies, profiles and shared lessons — you may not post harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, violent content, spam, or anything unlawful.

每一個社群畫面都有檢舉入口，你也可以在任何人的個人檔案上封鎖對方。檢舉會在 24 小時內審閱；違反本節規定的內容會被移除，張貼者的帳號可能被停用。

Every community surface has a report control, and you can block anyone from their profile. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Content that breaks this section is removed, and the account that posted it may be suspended.

Sink In is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that generated content will be accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the app.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date on this page; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

本條款受紐約州法律管轄，不適用其法律衝突原則。

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
